Jim Reardon,J.D.,CFP

Jim is a graduate of Kansas State University and Washburn University School of Law. He holds licenses in law, real estate, securities and insurance. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1973 and he has been a Certified Financial Planner® since 1987.
He served on the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Kansas City for over 6 years. He won the President's Award for "Significant contributions to the Principals of Financial Planning" in 2006 and 2008. He was appointed to 3 national task forces addressing Professional Issues and Standards for the Financial Planning Association. He served in the mentor program for law students at Washburn University School of Law. He serves as a case evaluator for law firms and as an expert witness in arbitration and litigation matters. He is past chairman of the Countryside United Methodist Church Endowment Board and he was a member of the Kansas American Legion finance committee for 10 years. He serves on the Topeka School Fund Investment Board. Jim has conducted over 100 financial planning, investment and retirement workshops and seminars for major employers, trade and professional associations, unversities and banking institutions. He was co-host of Financial Strategies, a WIBW 580 Radio talk show for over 5 years. |
